Meet Kristin

Hype girl. Confidence booster. Dog mom. Crystal lover. Pokemon Go addict. NC + Travel Boudoir Photographer.

Being a full time boudoir photographer means seeing people in their most intimate and vulnerable states. It is so important to be able to trust the person behind the camera and being vulnerable and honest with my clients is important to me. I run a private facebook group which has over 1600 people in it (women/non-binary only) and I love having a safe place where we can all be open and be a part of something bigger than myself.

Now, let's get personal. Some of my first memories as a child was getting teased by other kids for being fat. My entire life, I never felt happy in my body. While everyone else was in trendy clothes, I was in kid's plus size. I envied those shopping at Abercrombie and Hollister. They never fit me right. I was constantly trying to lose weight, but never lost more than 10-15 pounds. My mental health wasn't thought of at all. Back then, I thought if only I could be skinny, everything else would fall into place. Now I know this isn't true at all. If you don't love yourself now, you won't love yourself 15, 30, 50, or even 100 pounds lighter. While I struggled all throughout elementary, middle, and high school with my weight and self confidence, eventually, back in 2017, I FINALLY lost the weight. It's a crazy thing, to be teased or have family and friends comment on you being overweight your entire life and then once you lose weight, they start telling you you've lost TOO much weight. Now you're too thin. You need to eat. I was about 15 lbs from my "goal" and was arguably the happiest I've ever been, but after a bad breakup, I gained some back. It was only when I started getting into astrology/manifesting and starting my facebook group was it that I truly started working on loving myself and my body, in whatever state it's currently in. I practice what I preach and had my own boudoir photos done even though I gained some weight and don't have my "ideal" body. Do I plan on having another one when I end up getting there again? ONE THOUSAND PERCENT. I might even do another one before then. Boudoir sessions are like pringles, once you have one, you just can't stop.

Basically, the moral of this is: I've been in your shoes. Whether you feel like you're too heavy or not curvy enough, or maybe just not good enough in general, I know how you feel. I will make you feel beautiful, sexy, and confident. I will also try my darndest to make you realize how worthy and amazing you are.

Did you know Boudoir Photography was created to capture the beauty of a subject's figure and emotions, rather than an unrealistic or inappropriate exploration of the subject's body.
